CHAMPAIGN – Apparently, drinking and throwing eggs don't mix.
According to Champaign police reports, two men who pelted cars and a pedestrian with eggs were arrested early Sunday after trying, unsuccessfully, to run from police. The suspects, both 20, were throwing eggs in the 300 block of East Springfield Avenue about 2:15 a.m. and hit a 63-year-old woman from Champaign and a 31-year-old man from Danville.
