Edwards' October visit canceled

CHAMPAIGN – An October visit by two-time presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards to the University of Illinois is canceled, the Illini Union Board announced Thursday.

According to a statement by Edwards released by the Illini Union Board, Edwards decided to "avoid any public engagements until after the election in November."
