Kickapoo concerns dominate Vermilion County Board meeting
DANVILLE – Although the Vermilion County Board considered providing the first property tax cut in at least four years, the concern of most people at Tuesday night's meeting centered on the state's plan to close Kickapoo State Park.
The board passed a unanimous resolution Tuesday night opposing the scheduled Nov. 1 closure of the park.
