Gifford woman convicted in crash, death of boy near Rantoul
URBANA – A Gifford woman faces a maximum of two to five years in prison for reckless homicide when sentenced next month.
A Champaign County jury deliberated fewer than 90 minutes Thursday before convicting Melissa K. Darr, 42, for causing the death of Raymundo Vazquez Jr., 9, of Chicago, on May 25, 2007.
