Woman faces prison after conviction in crash death
URBANA – A Gifford woman convicted of causing the death of a Chicago boy in a traffic crash near Rantoul faces a maximum of five years in prison when sentenced next month.
A Champaign County jury deliberated around 90 minutes Thursday before convicting Melissa K. Darr, 42, of reckless homicide for the death of Raymundo Vazquez Jr., 9, on May 25, 2007.
