Ex-LaBamba business manager faces prison for embezzlement
URBANA – The former business manager for a Champaign restaurant faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in November for stealing from his employer.
James E. Hall, 38, who listed an address in the 1800 block of Sadler Drive, Champaign, pleaded guilty Friday before Judge Tom Difanis to theft over $10,000 for stealing money from the Aguas Partnership between Jan. 11, 2006, and May 30, 2007.
