New village administrator makes return to build in Rantoul
On the wall of the Rantoul Municipal Building hangs a photo of the Rantoul Products industrial plant from about 20 years ago. If you look closely on the photo, you can see an Eagle Premier automobile owned by then-plant manager Bruce Sandahl, who helped start up the facility. It became Rantoul's largest employer.
Thirteen years after being transferred to Michigan, Sandahl returned to Rantoul last week to become the community's new village administrator. The News-Gazette interviewed him in his office.
