Champaign police seek information on beating
Champaign police and Champaign County Crimestoppers this week are seeking information on a beating attack at 88 West Apartments on Sept. 7.
A group of men started a fight with several residents of the apartment complex at 2001 Moreland Boulevard at 2 a.m. Sept. 7. During the incident, three men kicked and punched a man while he was on the ground. They also used a pump-action shotgun as a club in the attack. The victim required hospital treatment.
