Fisher mayor asks for opinion on vote abstentions
FISHER – Fisher Mayor Ron Adams has asked for an interpretation of municipal law one week after only one of five village board members was allowed to cast votes at a Fisher Village Board meeting.
The board was considering several projects within Fisher's tax increment financing district. Since four of the five members live within the district, village attorney Marc Miller said those four trustees would have to abstain from those votes.
