Information sought on dead bear found in Douglas County
HUGO – Conservation police are investigating a black bear carcass discovered Tuesday in Douglas County.
Sheriff's deputies found the carcass after receiving a call from a resident reporting it near Hugo, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. Hugo is located south of Villa Grove and Camargo and east of Illinois 130.
