Interstate accident kills Pekin man
URBANA – A three-car accident on Interstate 74 Friday afternoon killed a 21-year-old Pekin man, one of two crashes that tied up traffic on the highway Friday.
At about 3:40 p.m., the driver of an eastbound car on Interstate 74 just west of the St. Joseph exit when she slowed to use the restricted turn-around lane in the median, according to the Illinois State Police.
