Danville facility brings gear, vehicles in from cold
DANVILLE – When the first snow covers streets this winter, city workers won't spend extra time scraping windshields and warming engines on the snowplows, because the trucks will be inside – or at least under a roof.
"I think that will be a great help, being able to put equipment inside and protect equipment from the weather. That's one of the toughest things, is protecting equipment from the weather," said Bob Scott, service and operations manager for the city of Danville.
