Champaign teachers to rally before latest negotiations
CHAMPAIGN – Champaign teachers plan to rally Wednesday evening at the school district's administration building, shortly before the district and the teachers' union meet for the third time with a federal mediator.
"We want to send a message to the board that the teachers are united and standing behind the bargaining team," said Jon Nadler, a representative of the Illinois Federation of Teachers. "We thought that was important."
