Convicted felon wants to take back pleas in shooting spree
URBANA – Torriano Johnson doesn't like it that his court-appointed defense lawyer wants to be a prosecutor.
That, and the fact that Johnson said Assistant Champaign County Public Defender Janie Miller-Jones "didn't like me," are among the reasons Johnson wants Judge Heidi Ladd to let him take back his guilty pleas.
