Scharlau honored as 'Champaign County's Most Valuable Citizen'
CHAMPAIGN – Carol Scharlau "makes people enjoy giving," said Emmie Fisher, who has worked with her on United Way campaigns.
On Friday, it was Scharlau's turn to receive, being named "Champaign County's Most Valuable Citizen" by the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce.
