Voters still have time to register in grace period
URBANA – Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden said he's never seen an election with this much interest. And you still have two weeks to register to vote, under a new provision.
Tuesday was the last day of regular registration for the Nov. 4 election, which could be expected to be high-interest for its presidential vote. Now it has a burgeoning vice presidential campaign under way, Shelden said.
