Authorities await results of lab tests in student death
URBANA – Authorities are waiting for results of lab tests to determine the cause of death for a Parkland College student.
Urbana police and fire and emergency medical staff were sent to an apartment in the 1600 block of East Florida Avenue at 8:25 a.m. Friday, according to Urbana police Sgt. Dan Morgan. The body of 21-year-old Patrick Cassidy, a Parkland student, was found in the bedroom of an apart- ment there, the sergeant said.
