Danville's proposed tax levy hike nearly 8 percent
DANVILLE – The city council's public works committee had a first look at the proposed 2008 tax levy Tuesday night – a nearly 8 percent increase over the 2007 tax levy.
Any increase 5 percent or more requires a public hearing.
