Newcomer challenges Vermilion County Board veteran
DANVILLE – Vermilion County Board member Chris Leigh is running for re-election this November against a challenger who's not only new to county board races but also to politics altogether.
College student Travis Taylor, 22, of Hoopeston is running on the Democratic ticket against Leigh, the Republican incumbent and Rankin resident who works as the comptroller for Ravens Trucking.
