Minor injuries reported in two-car collision

CHAMPAIGN – Police reported only minor injuries in a two-car collision at the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Third Street Friday afternoon.

A little after 3 p.m., police were called to the intersection after a car crashed into a black Ford Explorer that was southbound on Third Street, knocking the SUV onto its side.
