Body discovered in Monticello

MONTICELLO — A body was found in an area near the Sangamon River off County Farm Road in Monticello on Monday morning.
Sgt. Ryan Leary of the Piatt County Sheriff’s Department said the male
body was discovered by an unknown person at 9:16 a.m.
