Proposed tax levy in Rantoul asking for 4.97% increase
RANTOUL – Rantoul property owners can expect to pay higher village real-estate taxes next year, including record-high library taxes, according to a proposal before the Rantoul Village Board.
The board is considering a proposal to increase property taxes by 4.97 percent as part of this year's property-tax levy.
