Rantoul officials to give budgets a close look
RANTOUL – The state of the local economy is forcing the Rantoul Village Board to ask department heads and the Rantoul Public Library to explore making cuts to their budgets.
Rantoul Village Comptroller Scot Brandon said the village anticipated receiving $1.5 million in sales taxes this year.
