Autopsy: Smoke caused deaths in Gibson City fire
GIBSON CITY – Preliminary autopsy results show that the victims in a fatal fire Tuesday morning died from breathing smoke and soot.
Ford County Coroner Doug Wallace said Shanna Radakovich, 14, and Madisyn Moore, 13, died from carbon monoxide intoxication due to breathing smoke and soot in the fire Tuesday morning at 614 E. 11th Street, Gibson City.
