Rantoul issuing citations for code violations at White Hall, Building 16
RANTOUL – Village Administrator Bruce Sandahl has directed that building-code citations be issued against current and past owners of White Hall and an adjacent structure, Building 16, on the former Chanute Air Force Base.
Sandahl told the village board on Tuesday that village inspectors issued citations this week against the two buildings' current owners (listed as Future Planning Credit Services of Marlton, N.J.) and all previous owners, including Susheel Tenguria of Champaign, Champaign developer Jack Hayes, University of Illinois researcher Latif Kahn, developer Wha-Ying Jordan of Baltimore and the U.S. Air Force.
