Woman reports robbery attempt
URBANA – A Bondville woman foiled a would-be purse snatcher in Urbana on Wednesday night.
The 48-year-old victim was leaving an office of the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, on the west side of Sunnycrest Plaza, about 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to Urbana police Sgt. Dan Morgan.
