Young vandals sentenced to probation in Mahomet case
URBANA – A Mahomet couple whose home was vandalized by several underage drinkers while they were away expressed disappointment at the sentence four of them received Monday.
"They were given a gift today," Joan Gorsuch said of the plea agreements entered into by four of 10 young people accused of damaging her rural home as she, husband Neil and their two sons vacationed in Europe in late June 2007.
