Police use phone alerts to help find 17-year-old Champaign girl
CHAMPAIGN – More than 1,700 residents were called early Saturday morning for their help in locating a 17-year-old Champaign girl.
The girl, a Central High School student, was reported missing at about 8:20 p.m. Friday, said Deputy Chief Troy Daniels. She was last seen after school Friday, waiting inside the foyer of Combes Gymnasium.
