Pooch drops by to help students cope with loss
CHAMPAIGN – A four-legged friend brightened up a tough week for some children at Garden Hills Elementary School on Thursday.
Neo, a black Labrador, visited the third-grade classrooms at the school. He was there to help the children as they deal with losing third-grade teacher Venita Hubbard. She was killed in a car accident on her way to school Monday morning.
