Ten hopefuls file initial papers for 7 Danville council seats

DANVILLE – A former Danville alderwoman on Monday filed papers to run for the Danville City Council in the 2009 consolidated election.

But this time around, Sharon McMahon, who represented Ward 3 from September 1998 to June 2002, is running for the Ward 4 seat vacated in August by longtime Alderwoman Nancy O'Kane.
