Vermilion board member becoming assistant state's attorney
DANVILLE – A Vermilion County Board member has resigned – but he'll still be involved in board business in another capacity.
Board Chairman Jim McMahon announced Monday that District 7 representative Bill Donahue stepped down last week but is merely headed next door.
Donahue was hired as an assistant state's attorney in the office of newly elected Randy Brinegar.
