Radiant heat repairs caused Church Street fire
CHAMPAIGN – A fire that damaged a Champaign apartment house started after workers repaired the home's radiant heat pipes.
They were at 1106 W. Church St., C., about an hour before a fire was reported to the Champaign Fire Department. Firefighters responded to reports of flames showing from the home's third floor.
