Ex-UI basketball star gets positive report in court
URBANA – Former University of Illinois basketball player Jamar Smith is due back in court in April after a positive report to a Champaign County judge Monday morning.
Smith, 21, had a remission hearing before Judge Rich Klaus during which State's Attorney Julia Rietz reported Smith has had no violations of his probation for aggravated driving under the influence since receiving his sentence in mid-September.
