Prosecutor 'pleased with progress' of Jamar Smith

URBANA – Jamar Smith said he's feeling great and is ready to play college basketball again in 2009.

"I don't really have a problem with alcohol any more," the 21-year-old former University of Illinois basketball player said Monday after a brief court hearing in Champaign County.
