Villa Grove panel looks to put sales tax back on ballot
VILLA GROVE – The Douglas County emergency services sales tax may have new life for the spring election, with the creation of a grass-roots committee to support putting the referendum proposal back on the ballot.
Villa Grove Aldermen Mike Akers and Lois Wilson have been meeting with entities currently served by the Villa Grove ambulance service to brainstorm ideas and gain support for the area ambulance service.
