Champaign police continue to investigate Friday shooting

CHAMPAIGN – Police were continuing Saturday to investigate a shooting in north Champaign that resulted in one man being hospitalized.

Sgt. Dave Griffet said the investigation is continuing and the victim, whose identity was not released, was still recovering with a gunshot wound to his groin.
