Police seek women accused of cashing counterfeit checks
Champaign County Crimestoppers and Rantoul police this week are seeking help in finding three people believed to be involved in a fraudulent check cashing scheme.
Rantoul police were sent to a local business on Nov. 1 on a report that they had received several counterfeit checks. Investigation showed three people were responsible for cashing counterfeit paychecks at the business.
