Early-morning death reported in Danville shooting

DANVILLE – A late-night shooting has left a Danville man dead.

Alberto Cardoza, 18, of Danville was pronounced dead at 12:33 a.m. Thursday at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, according to Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson.
