Champaign police seeking tips in fatal Garden Hills shooting
CHAMPAIGN – Police are continuing the investigation of a Champaign man's murder in the Garden Hills area of Champaign.
Lt. Joe Gallo said detectives are awaiting lab results from evidence collected at the scene of the fatal shooting of James Ellis, 34, who was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 19 at his home at 1909 Joanne Lane.
