Empty Rantoul school bus struck by car; two injuries reported

CHAMPAIGN – A Rantoul school bus was hit by a car Thursday afternoon at the corner of Arcadia Drive and Neil Street.

Witnesses reported that an eastbound vehicle on Arcadia Drive drove through a stop sign, striking the empty bus, which was southbound on Neil Street in the driving lane, according to police.
