Count census bureau among prospects for employment
CHAMPAIGN – Just as the job market is looking bleak, the U.S. Census Bureau plans to hire hundreds of thousands of people to help with its 2010 poll.
Just how many will be hired in East Central Illinois hasn't been determined yet, said Muriel Jackson, spokeswoman for the Chicago Regional Census Center.
