Monticello's Washington Elementary hires interim principal

MONTICELLO – Washington Elementary School is under new leadership for the second semester now that former Mahomet-Seymour High School Principal Del Ryan has been hired as interim principal.

The position became open when former Principal Brad Auten resigned for personal reasons, effective Dec. 19. The board accepted his resignation at a special meeting Dec. 22.
