Rantoul man arrested in Tennessee for Dec. 20 shooting
RANTOUL – A Rantoul man accused of a Dec. 20 murder is due to be brought back to Champaign County after being arrested in Nashville on a warrant for a murder charge.
Rantoul police Sgt. Marcus Beach said officers received information Saturday that Juvon Mays, 27, of Rantoul had been arrested and was being held by the Nashville Police Department. Mays will be extradited back to Champaign County, he said.
