Former police investigator remembered as a generous person
CHAMPAIGN – He was a cop, a real-estate salesman, a restaurateur and a deputy coroner. He was a husband, father, grandfather and brother. But Bill Wilkinson is being remembered not for what he did in life, but how he did it.
Wilkinson, 73, died at his Mahomet home Monday afternoon, having battled a rare form of cancer for about three years.
