County's budget cuts help avoid unpaid furloughs
URBANA – Champaign County Co-Administrator Debra Busey has found cuts and transferred revenue totaling $550,000 for the county coffers, which should mean no unpaid furloughs for employees.
She told department heads about the projections Wednesday afternoon, after they had come to her with suggestions from their units.
