Business picks up with reopening of North Neil Street
CHAMPAIGN – Carla Cahill noticed the difference right away this weekend.
Cahill is the manager of Pekara Bakery & Bistro, 116 N. Neil St. She said business at the downtown bakery began to pick up almost immediately after North Neil Street was finally reopened to through traffic Friday afternoon, after being closed for three months.
