St. Jude Catholic Worker House's popularity creates dilemma
CHAMPAIGN – The St. Jude Catholic Worker House is a popular place at lunchtime, with men lining up hours beforehand to sample the latest soup-kitchen fare – Tuesday's pork roast, for instance, donated by the Newman Center.
It poses a dilemma for the volunteer-run charity, which stopped taking in homeless women last summer.
