Vacant building ordinance proposed in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN – A proposed ordinance that would establish a program to encourage reuse of vacant buildings, including penalties for landlords who leave buildings vacant for extended periods, will be reviewed by the city council Tuesday.
The council meets in study session at 7 p.m. at the City Building, 102 N. Neil St.
