Car burglars hitting west central Champaign hard

CHAMPAIGN – Police in Champaign are warning about a rash of car burglaries in west central Champaign.

There were a total of 24 car burglaries in Champaign from Thursday night to Friday morning, according to Champaign police spokeswoman Rene Dunn. They were in the area of West William Street west of Prospect Avenue in Champaign.
