Paxton officials want action on fire-damaged site
PAXTON – City officials want a building in downtown Paxton either repaired or demolished soon.
The building at 146 N. Market St. sustained major damage in the fire that destroyed the Paxton Majestic Theatre in November 2007. One of the building's brick walls is partially collapsed, and the rear door can't be secured due to piles of debris having fallen through the roof.
